Hi, I’m Disha! I’m a London-based communication designer and illustrator. My work is inspired by the everyday moments I observe—people, interactions, and emotions. Through my designs and illustrations, I explore themes of identity, culture, and social inclusion.
I enjoy creating thoughtful compositions, often blending bold colors and expressive characters to create meaningful visual narratives. Whether through editorial design, illustrated storytelling, or socially driven projects, my goal is to challenge perspectives, celebrate diversity, and spark conversations.
My design journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Knitwear Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology. During my studies, I discovered a deep passion for visual design, which ultimately shifted my focus towards this field.
After graduating, I had the opportunity to work at Amazon India, where I gained valuable industry experience. However, my growing interest in visual communication led me to pursue further studies in the field. This path took me to the UK, where I completed an MA in Visual Communication at the University for the Creative Arts, refining my skills and deepening my understanding of design.
